Early Interventions

  • Do you have concerns about your child’s development?
  • Has your child been given a diagnosis and you’re not sure what to do next?
  • Is your child not speaking, do you feel they don’t understand you, and do they often show aggressive behavior?
  • Is your child not making sufficient progress in their current therapies?

We can help you address not only these questions. During individual interventions, we focus primarily on areas of early learning. Intensive and systematic work on developing functional communication, regulating challenging behaviors, and establishing motivation and willingness to cooperate forms the fundamental pillars of further progress in early learning. There is no need to wait for a diagnosis! If you have any concerns about your child’s development, act immediately. With timely and intensive support in areas of difficulty, it is possible to catch up or significantly reduce manifestations associated with uneven development and to maximize the child’s potential so they can succeed in their further education.

The Importance of Early Intervention

We may not forget young children learn through play. It doesn't necessarily mean we will play with cars or dolls the entire session. We use play as a fundamental motivator, reinforcer, and driving force of the session. During the play, our goal is to apply teaching strategies and procedures sensitively, so the child can learn. This type of learning involves items and activities the child prefers, what he/she likes the most, and what brings him/her joy.

In early childhood, when the human brain is naturally at its most flexible, we focus intensively on developing functional communication (both receptive and expressive language), visual perception, imitation as a fundamental tool for learning, as well as play skills, basic social skills, and personal self-care. An essential component of the early school years is also the development of academic skills (reading, writing, basic mathematical concepts, counting), along with the acquisition of more complex language structures and the functional use of language in a broader social context.
