Early Interventions
Intensive and systematic work to develop functional communication, regulation of negative behavior and motivation to cooperation.
Support in Kindergarten
We provide direct collaboration with schools or kindergartens to support integration of children with special needs.
Parent Consultations
We provide consultations to families with children with special needs to solve any behavioral and educational problems or stressful situations.
When starting to work with child clients, it's necessary to consider what should be the main focus of the therapy regarding the age, individual needs, interests, and preferences. Also, we are supposed to respect the needs of the family as a unique system. For the early learners, typically up to around 6-7 years, we aim at areas of early intervention. During this period we focus on increasing functional communications and decreasing challenging behaviors. As children get older and reach school age, the focus shifts more towards developing independence, allowing them to live independently within society.
About Us
Blue Bridge was established to expand the range of services for children diagnosed with autism or other developmental delays. Our primary goal is to systematically support the upbringing and education of these children, to support their families, and to build a bridge into their world with shared joy and playfulness. At the same time, we place strong emphasis on measurable therapy outcomes, progress monitoring, and keeping parents well informed. Partnership is key for us—a high-quality, trustworthy, and friendly relationship not only with the young client, but also with their family. We provide our services in the city of Brno (IBC Shopping Centre), in both Czech and English.
